FAQ's
How do I purchase a shed or cabin?
We prefer to do all of our sales by phone or email. That way we can be sure that you get a product that meets your needs. You can call Stephen at (509) 322-0322 or email info@AlpineShed.com.
How level does my site need to be?
We do not recommend having the site more than 12'' out of level. Keep in mind that if the front of the shed is lifted up to level, you will need to build steps or a ramp to access your shed.
How far off the ground is the doorway?
We build a very sturdy floor. With 4x6 skids, and 2x8 floor joists, the bottom of the doorway is about 16'' off the ground with a level site.
Do I need a permit?
Okanogan County requires a permit on storage sheds over 200 square feet. The permit is your responsibility and it is your choice whether or not you purchase one. Please determine what rules and specifications apply to you before purchasing your shed. We can draw blueprints upon request.
Also check for any neighborhood covenants or other restrictions before purchasing.
Where can I look at a shed?
We usually have sheds on display in Tonasket.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, or credit card. We run the credit card through PayPal, but a PayPal account is not required. Our "Credit Card" price is roughly 3% higher than the posted ''Cash" price.
What are your terms?
When purchasing a custom shed or cabin, we require a 20% down payment with the balance at delivery.
Do you do rent-to-own?
Yes!! We have partnered with a third party company to provide rent-to-own and financing options. Contact us for details.
How long will it take to receive my shed?
If we have the shed in-stock, we can typically deliver within a few days. On a custom order, our lead time is usually between 3 weeks and 10 months. Be sure to ask when ordering.
What kind of siding will my shed have?
Standard siding is the Rough-cut Fir. It is fir plywood with a fir batt 12'' OC. You can order pre-primed T1-11 for the same price. If you would like lap siding, metal, log, t&g, or any other siding type, just call or email for a quote!
What maintenance is required for my shed?
If your shed has the Rough-cut Fir siding, it will need stained or painted. We use an oil base stain from Penofin on all of our display buildings. The shed may require additional coats of stain every few years.
